We have an extensive history and expertise in contract processing, offering a wide range of resin synthesis and polymer manufacture as well as blending and product modification, all conducted under our ISO standards. Our manufacturing plant comprises of a wide range of reaction units of varying capacity.

We can produce materials from laboratory scale, through pilot plant “scale up” and onto main plant processing varying from 3000 – 16000 litre capacity. Our exceptional cooling facilities accommodate high reactivity resins and enable operation at temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius.

Process operations: General details

Process operations are made up of four different types:

Process operations include handling of products including

  • Product discharge and re-packs
  • Tanker arrival and re-package
  • IBC or other isolated pack re-package
    • Includes pre-heating when required
    • Handling of flammable materials
    • Powder handling and re-packaging

Process operations include blending of inert products including

  • Liquid blending of materials
    • Includes liquid/liquid blending
    • Pre-heated liquid/liquid blending
  • Liquid solids handling
    • Dissolving of solids in liquids
    • Dispersion of solids in liquids
    • Including rheology modification
    • Colouration
    • Flow and process aid modification

Reactive processing is extensive, and review of the reaction type is required but needless to say we can process products including products of a similar nature to the resin already manufactured which comprise of:

  • Addition reactions
  • Condensation reactions
