Bitrez Ltd, Europe’s leading manufacturer of specialist polymers and chemicals, has become an industrial partner of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub (CIMComp).

Bitrez triumphed at the IChemE Global Awards 2019 in the Food and Drink category. Warwick Davis, of Harry Potter and Star Wars fame, hosted this year’s Awards evening, which was held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Hull, UK on the 7th November.

Bitrez named Business of the Year

Bitrez Ltd has been awarded business of the year by Greater Manchester Chamber at the Wigan Business Awards. The team attended an awards ceremony at DW Stadium hospitality facilities on Friday 22nd November.

Bitrez strikes gold at manufacturing awards

Bitrez was given the Make UK Innovation Award for its development of Curaphen - Bisphenol A (BPA) free resins. Launched in 2013, Curaphen is used for the internal coatings of food and drink packaging. Make UK, The Manufacturers’ Organisation, is the representative voice of UK manufacturing.
