What a fantastic year 2019 has been! It began with Curpahen winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Chemicals Northwest crowned us Manufacturer of the Year and we attended a special reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales.
Bitrez has donated £1,750 to help a local scout group purchase five four-man tents.
Bitrez thoroughly enjoyed working with the professional ITN team on the contribution we are making to the CIA documentary “Chemicals for a better tomorrow” and look forward to the screening at Grosvenor House on the 21st November.

Bitrez has has expanded its presence in the USA with the appointment of Dr Shahid Quershi as Technical Specialist for North America. Dr Quershi has more than 35 years’ experience of working within high performance composites.
Bitrez has announced the appointment of Georgia-Pacific Chemicals as exclusive distributor for its Curaphen speciality phenolics across the US, Canada and Mexico. GP Chemicals has decades of experience in coatings and other markets.
Bitrez is today (23 April 2019) celebrating being named winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The Wigan-based company secured the award – the UK’s most prestigious accolade for business success – in the Innovation category for its Bisphenol A (BPA) free resin, Curaphen. Launched in 2013, Curaphen is used for the internal coatings of food and drink packaging.
