Both ceremonies were held virtually due to the pandemic.

Bitrez Ltd has been awarded the Manufacturing Innovation Award 2020 by Insider Media ‘Made in the North West Awards’ for their product Curaphen- a pioneering bisphenol A (BPA) -free phenolic resin. Launched in 2013, Curaphen is used for the internal coatings of food and drink packaging.

Macmillan Cancer Coffee Morning
Bitrez are pleased to back the wonderful Macmillan cancer support charity and have today held a Coffee Morning. After depositing an array of cakes, tea, and coffee at numerous locations about the Standish site whilst maintaining appropriate social distancing and compliance with site regulations, cake was eaten!
ISO 45001 Successful Qualification
We are very pleased to announce the successful migration and qualification of our Health and Safety Management System from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001, the first international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).
North West chemist is elected to highest office of global scientific body
Paul Jones, Managing Director of Wigan-based Bitrez, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, which is the highest level of membership. Paul joined Bitrez shortly after it was formed and consisted of a handful of staff.
