Award success follows record number of visitors at European Coatings Show 2019
Bitrez Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer of specialist polymers and chemicals, has hailed this year’s European Coatings Show as its best yet with a 23% increase in visitors to its stand.
Success at the show was quickly followed by Bitrez been crowned Manufacturing Company of the Year 2019 at the Chemicals Northwest awards on 28th March – a glittering black tie event attended by more than 200 professionals from the North West of England’s chemical industry.
Dominic Hopwood, Bitrez Sales Manager, said: “It’s been an exciting two weeks for us, with record visitors to our stand and winning Chemicals Northwest’s Manufacturing Company of the Year award for our sustainable growth and excellence in developing and bringing innovative products to market. Our stand at this year’s show was inundated with visitors keen to hear how we are using our R&D expertise to push chemical boundaries to create products like our new Ketamine series and our low free formaldehyde resins which have sold more than 5,000 tonnes into the packaging sector alone and are fast gaining traction in other coatings businesses across the globe.
“For us it’s about using clever chemistry to provide the paints, coatings and adhesives industry with an innovate solution whilst also filling the gap provided by products that have been withdrawn from the market due to regulatory reform.”
Bitrez has worked with customers in the paint, coatings and adhesives industry in over 25 countries, providing them with innovative customised solutions that offer enhanced performance.
